Steak and broc-cauli rice

Plenty of protein to satisfy you after a workout, and substituting cauliflower rice for white rice means carb levels are lower while fiber is higher.  This is a delicious, nutritious, and guilt-free stir fry that you can whip up in 15 minutes.  Add one egg for an extra protein boost.

Serves 2


100g broccoli 100g cauliflower (grated)
200g steak- sliced
4 Tbsp soy sauce (60ml)
4 garlic cloves
2 tsp ginger (10g)
1 chili pepper
2 spring onions
1/2 Tsp olive oil (8ml)


1. Steam the broccoli and cauliflower and set aside.
2. Add oil to a hot pan, and fry the steak until browned.
3. Add the garlic and ginger, stir, and add the cauliflower and steamed broccoli.
4. Pour in the soy sauce, and add the spring onion.
5. Remove from the heat and let sit for 2 minutes.
