Broccoli and Mozzarella Bites

These vegetable balls are a great snack to have on the go. Full of antioxidants and fiber from the broccoli, it will keep you feeling full between meals. Broccoli also contains isoflavones which, depending on your estrogen production trait, can help to lower estrogen production. Greek yogurt gives these bites a boost in protein, helping you feel even more satiated (full).

Serves 4



100 g Almond flour

1 tsp Turmeric

1 tsp Cayenne pepper

2 Garlic cloves

70 g Broccoli florets

25 g Grated mozzarella

4 Egg whites

0.5 tsp Salt

1 tsp of Black pepper

60 g Low-fat Greek yogurt



1. Preheat the oven to 350 F (177 C).

2. Finely chop the broccoli florets and garlic.

3. Mix the flour, tumeric, cayenne pepper, salt and pepper in a bowl.

4. Add the egg whites to the centre of the bowl and mix in slowly to create a dough.

5. Gradually combine the garlic, broccoli and mozzarella into the mixture and then form 12-15 balls.

6. Place the balls on a baking tray and bake for 30-40 minutes, until the balls are browned.

7. Serve warm with a spoonful of yogurt.
